Fatal Crash into Tree Car Accident Law Firm Reports

FULLERTON, California – A man driving a Chevy Blazer was killed after losing control of his vehicle and smashing into a tree just before midnight on Tuesday, police officials report.

Jorge Carrillo, 46, of La Habra died at the scene of the car accident in the 1500 block of North Harbor Boulevard and Brea Boulevard, officials said. There were no passengers in Carrillo’s 1991 Chevy Blazer. Police are investigating the car accident and the coroner’s office plans to conduct an autopsy to determine whether any drugs or alcohol were a factor in the car collsion.

Four Vehicles Involved in Fatal Car Crash in Long Beach, Car Accident Attorney Reports

LONG BEACH, California – Police believe the 23-year-old driver who was killed Monday afternoon in a multiple-vehicle car accident was speeding and lost control of his vehicle prior to hitting three others drivers on Willow Street.

Emergency crews used the Jaws of Life to free the Lakewood man from his black 2005 Dodge Neon, but they were unable to save his life. Police also indicated that the driver was not wearing a seat belt.

The car crash took place after the vehicle struck a traffic median which propelled it into the air before landing on the three other vehicles including a Ford Ranger, a Chevy El Camino and a Chevy Tahoe. Two men — the 54-year-old driver of the Ford and a 64-year-old driver of the Chevy El Camino – suffered minor injuries in the car accident and were transported to local hospitals for medical treatment. The driver of the Chevy Tahoe was unharmed in the car accident.

Fatal Motorcycle Accident in Desert Hot Springs

DESERT HOT SPRINGS, California – A 46-year-old motorcyclist was killed late Sunday afternoon when his Harley Davidson swerved off the road and he was thrown off, California Highway Patrol officials reported.

James Scott Rogers was riding his motorcycle on Thousand Palms Canyon Road at the time of the accident. Rogers was wearing a helmet at the time of the motorcycle accident, but he died of massive head injuries, said police. The helmet worn by Rogers was described as a novelty helmet that did not meet federal Department of Transportation standards.

“Many motorcyclists put looks before safety on the road by wearing novelty head gear known as “brain buckets” or ‘beanies,’ instead of federally approved safety crash helmets,” said Attorney West Seegmiller, founder of the West Seegmiller Law Firm. “These bucket-style helmets offer absolutely no protection for the skull. If the rider is in a crash there is no energy-absorbing foam to protect the skull as required in normal helmets.”

Six People Injured – Two in Critical Condition — in Head-On Car Accident, Law Firm Reports

SEAL BEACH, California – A head-on car crash on Seal Beach Boulevard left six people including two children hospitalized Wednesday in the three car collision near the 405 freeway, police officials said. Orange County fire Authority Officials used the Jaws of Life to extract two women from one of the vehicles in the multiple-vehicle car crash, officials said.

“I am told that these two women were in critical condition,” said Attorney West Seegmiller, founder of the Seegmiller Law Firm, a car accident law firm. “Fire authorities worked diligently to get them out as quickly as possible and transport them to a nearby hospital.”

Police reported that a Ford Expedition and a Ford Explorer were traveling at a high rate of speed before they collided head on and then struck a third vehicle. Victims included a family of four with two girls and the drivers of the two other vehicles involved in the car crash.

The car accident, which took place about 5 p.m. Wednesday night, closed down Seal Beach Boulevard completely as fire rescue crews and police investigated the car accident. Several police and fire agency officials joined together to form an Accident Reconstruction Team at the scene of the car accident in an effort to determine exactly how the car accident happened, officials said.
