COALINGA, California (May 21, 2013) – At least one person was killed in a head-on crash Tuesday morning at the intersection of Jayne and South El Dorado avenues, according to a dispatch report issued by the California Highway Patrol.
About 9 a.m., CHP officers reported that the drivers of a mini van and a red coupe collided head on and someone died at the scene of the wreck, however, the report did not indicate the number of people who were killed or injuries sustained by the vehicle occupants.
About 9:23 a.m., the Fresno County Sheriff Coroner was called to the scene of the traffic accident. Both vehicles were removed from the scene of the fatal Coalinga accident.
