ESCONDIDO, California – A 49-year-old man was killed early Saturday morning after his Lincoln Navigator veered off the Interstate 15 and hit a sign pole, San Diego Coroner’s Office reports show.
Silvano Nicholas Calva, 49, of San Diego, died at the scene from blunt force injuries to the torso as a result of the car accident. California Highway Patrol officials said Calva was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the car accident that took place near Miramar Way.
There were no other occupants in the vehicle and no other vehicles were involved in the California car crash, officials said.
