ANAHEIM, California – A man driving a white Nissan Versa reportedly made a left-hand turn in front of a woman in a black Honda Accord early Wednesday allegedly causing a collision that injured both drivers at the intersection of La Palma Avenue and North Blue Gum Street, according to a news report in the Orange County Reigster.
Police reported that the driver of the Nissan was traveling eastbound on La Palma prior to the crash when he attempted to make a left-hand turn in front of the Honda and the two vehicles collided sending the Accord into a second crash.
The two injured drivers were treated by Anaheim Fire paramedics on the scene of the 6:19 a.m. crash and both were subsequently transported to local hospitals including St. Joseph Hospital of Orange for further evaluation of undisclosed non-life threatening injuries, the report said.
“Injuries involving neck or back sprain can be complex and may take days, weeks or even months to fully surface,” said Attorney West Seegmiller, founder of the Seegmiller Law Firm. “It’s important that Anaheim car accident victims seek medical attention immediately following a crash and make follow-up appointments to ensure proper recovery.”
