RIVERSIDE, California – Three people were trapped and  injured, two in critical condition following a 3-vehicle crash early Wednesday morning on El Sobrante Road at Vista Del Lago Drive, according to a CAL/FIRE Riverside County Fire Department press release.

About 7:03 a.m., three vehicles including a Smart Car, a gray Fiat 500 and a Kia sedan collided in a head-on crash that involved major injuries and fire fighters had to cut and rescue some of the people, the report said.

“Police investigate every car accident involving a death to determine the cause of a crash in order to find out who is liable to the other party for damages,” said Attorney West Seegmiller, founder of the Seegmiller Law Firm. “The investigation will seek to find out if either driver was under the influence of alcohol, drugs or distracted. Also, police are seeking to find out if there are circumstances that may have led to the crash that were illegal or reckless.”
