MORENO VALLEY, California – Three people were injured in a two-vehicle traffic collision on Heacock Street at Cactus Avenue Saturday night, according to a CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department press release.One of the patients sustained major injuries and the other two reportedly had moderate injuries due to the car accident, the report said.The driver of a GMC Yukon was heading northbound on Heacock Street when it collided with a Nissan Altima, traveling eastbound on Cactus Avenue. Paramedics transported a 4-year-old child who was traveling in the Nissan Altima to Riverside County Regional Medical Center for head trauma. Additionally, the driver of the Nissan Altima and a passenger in the GMC Yukon were also taken to hospital for moderate injuries.
