WEST LOS ANGELES, California (June 19, 2013) – Police responded to a three-vehicle injury traffic accident Wednesday morning on the southbound Interstate 405 freeway at West Rosecrans Avenue, according to a dispatch report issued by the California Highway Patrol.
About 7:11 a.m., CHP officers say the motorists crashed and one vehicle spun out and was facing the wrong way on the freeway. The Los Angeles County Fire Department was called to the accident scene with an ambulance to treat those who were injured.
A black Mitsubishi sedan was blocking the Nos. 3 and 4 lanes and another vehicle was blocking the No. 5 lane, the report said. At least one vehicle was towed from the crash site. The roadway was clear by 8:09 a.m., CHP reported.
