RIVERSIDE, California — Several vehicles collided in a series of crashes early Tuesday morning on the westbound lanes of State Route 91 just west of McKinley Street, according to a dispatch report issued by the California Highway Patrol.
First the CHP responded to a report that he drivers of a Honda Civic and a burgundy Nissan Altima had crashed just before 6 a.m. A few minutes later a second report said a burgundy Nissan Frontier pickup truck and a blue Ford Expedition was also in a wreck and was pulled over on the right side of the SR-91. T
Then about 6:20 a.m., the report a silver Honda and a red Nissan Sentra were in a rear-end crash in the No. 1 and HOV lanes. One of the occupants of these vehicles suffered minor injuries and was transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital for treatment, the report said.
