DESERT HOT SPRINGS, California – Firefighters rescued a victim trapped in a car that collided with a semi-tractor trailer truck Tuesday night on the eastbound Interstate 10 freeway just east of Indian Canyon, according to a CAL FIRE/Riverside County Fire Department press release.
The victim suffered moderate injuries in the 8:40 p.m. Desert Hot Springs car accident and was transferred by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment. The driver of the big rig was not injured in the traffic collision, according to the report.
