Tracy Peine of Hesperia Killed in Crash on Bear Valley Road

HESPERIA, California  (Sept. 9, 2013) – Tracy Peine, 25, of Hesperia was killed Monday night when the car he was riding in crashed in the vicinity of Bear Valley Road and Third Avenue, according to a press release issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner.

About 6:42 p.m., police and paramedics were called to the scene of the crash involving a Ford Escort and found Peine suffering from major injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the wreck by San Bernardino County Fire Department emergency workers.

The fatal crash is under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Department Major Accident Investigation Team. The young man was reportedly wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash, the report said.

HESPERIA, California (March 27, 2013) – Richard Fellows, 70, of Apple Valley was killed Tuesday night in a car crash on Main Street when another driver hit him and caused him to lose control of his vehicle, according to a press release issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner Department.

About 6:30 p.m., Fellows was driving his 2006 Saturn Vue in the westbound lanes of Main Street when another driver crashed into him, he lost control of the vehicle and struck a business sign before finally coming to a stop in front of a business near 15100 Main Street.

Paramedics and emergency workers responded to the scene of the traffic accident and found Fellows was unresponsive. He was taken by ambulance to Desert Valley Hospital where he later died about 30 minutes later due to the injuries sustained in the crash.

The San Bernardino County Sheriff-Hesperia Station’s MAIT team is investigating the collision.
