Police Investigating Fatal Huntington Beach Motorcycle Accident

HUNTINGTON BEACH, California (Jan. 1, 2014) — Brandon Wenn, 29, of Huntington Beach was killed in a motorcycle accident at the intersection of Golden West and Yorktown avenues, according to a press release by the Orange County Sheriff Coroner.

About 2:38 a.m., Wenn was the operator of motorcycle driving near the intersection when he lost control of his vehicle and struck “fixed objects,” the report said.

Huntington Beach Police officers responded to the motorcycle accident, but Wenn died at the scene of the crash. The press release did not mention whether any other vehicles were involved or if this was a solo crash.

“There is an accident report pending for this fatal crash and it will contain an analysis of the collision factors based on evidence collected by police. This report will establish fault,” said Attorney West Seegmiller. “The report is typically available within 30 days. The report is very helpful not only to law enforcement, but also to family and loved ones.  We extend our sympathy to the family of Mr. Wenn as they try to piece together what happened and come to terms with such a tremendous loss.”
