LUCERNE VALLEY, California – Diane Janett Rozar, 59, of Lucerne Valley was killed after her pickup truck struck a light pole and flipped over on State Route 247 just south of Rabbit Springs Road, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner report.

About 2:41 p.m. on August 28, police were alerted to calls about a motorist allegedly driving erratically on the northbound SR-247 prior to the crash. Rozar’s white 2001 Ford F-150 truck was found upside down and on fire when police arrived on the scene. There was no indication that another vehicle was involved, however, a complete investigation is being conducted by the CHP into the circumstances surrounding the death.

Victorville California Highway Patrol officers responded to the crash and Rozar was pronounced dead at the scene of the car accident.

“Indeed there are many factors that must be investigated after a single-vehicle crash such as this one including whether another driver was involved and fled the scene, dangerous roadway conditions or weather affecting the roadways,” said Attorney West Seegmiller. “A personal injury lawyer can help ensure an investigation is properly conducted and the family has its questions answered.”
