SEAL BEACH – A crash on the Interstate 405 freeway Sunday afternoon between a car and a red pickup truck resulted in a rollover crash that critically injured a family of two children and two adults, according to the Orange County Register.
Passersby came to the aid of the injured family helping them out of the crumpled pickup truck that had landed in an embankment beside the freeway. One of them called 911 for paramedics about 2 p.m., news reports said. The crash, which took place roughly 100 feet south of Seal Beach Boulevard, is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol to determine its cause. The two adults were transported by ambulance to UCI Medical Center in Orange and the children were both transported to Miller Children’s Hospital in Long Beach.
The driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries in the crash and was transported to Los Alamitos Medical Center for treatment.
It is unclear what caused the Seal Beach accident, but it is certain that this family will need everyone’s prayers as well as the best medical care available to help them recover from this unfortunate car accident.
