American Medical Response Treats For Major Injuries
MODESTO, CALIFORNIA (March 27, 2014)- Injuries were sustained in a 2-car accident Thursday morning at 9:30 a.m. at the intersection of Claribel and Albers roads, according to the California Highway Patrol dispatch team.
Officer personnel responded to the scene and communicated that a white pick-up truck and a grey Honda CRV were involved in a traffic collision. According to witness testimonies, at least one of the motorists ran a red light and caused the accident.
One of the vehicles hit lost control and hit a signal pole on the corner of the intersection resulting in further damage to the vehicle and injury.
The local fire department and American Medical Response staff members were on scene to treat subjects involved for injuries sustained from the collision. At least one of the motorists was transported to a local medical facility to seek further treatment.
Classic Tow was present and removed the Honda CRV from the scene. The report did not specify whether or not the pick-up truck was also removed from the scene as well.
Officers will gather details for this accident and will determine liability. An accident report will be available as soon as the investigation is completed.
“Many people don’t realize they can suffer a traumatic brain injury in a car accident even when there has been no head impact,” said Attorney West Seegmiller. “Indeed, the symptoms often show up later when the victim can’t remember names or events as well. It’s important to see a doctor and treat this type of injury soon after a collision.”
