PERRIS, California (April 29, 2013) – Five people were injured including two listed in critical condition Friday night in a deadly crash on West 4th Street at Navajo Road, according to a press release issued by the CAL FIRE Riverside County Fire Department.
Just minutes before midnight on April 26, emergency workers responded to the two-vehicle car accident that involved one person who was trapped in the wreckage. The victim was freed from the wreckage about 12:42 a.m. and immediately transported by Mercy Air ambulance to a nearby hospital where they were listed in critical condition.
Another victim was listed in critical condition and taken by ground ambulance and three others suffered minor injuries in the accident. A total of five patients were taken to hospital following the deadly crash, the report said.
