WILDOMAR CAR CRASH: One Injured in Solo Accident on Lost Road

WILDOMAR, California (May 31, 2013) – One person suffered moderate injuries Thursday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash at the intersection of Lost Road and Navajo Springs Road, according to a report by the Riverside County Fire Department.

About 4 p.m., CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters reported to the scene of the solo-vehicle rollover crash and found one person had been ejected from the vehicle. Paramedics transported the injured person by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, the report said.

Responding agencies were American Medical Response, CAL FIRE/Riverside, Riverside County Fire Department and Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the report said.

LAKE ELSINORE CRASH: One Person Hospitalized After Accident on Grand Avenue

LAKE ELSINORE, California (May 29, 2013) – One person was hospitalized after suffering moderate injuries Tuesday morning in a crash between two vehicles on Grand Avenue and Broadway Street, according to a press release issued by the Riverside County Fire Department.

About 11:30 a.m., fire fighters were called to the scene of the crash to rescue the injured person who was trapped in one of the vehicles. Two others involved in the crash were not hurt, the report said.

LAKE MATHEWS CRASH: Injury Accident on El Sobrante and Mockingbird Canyon Roads

LAKE MATHEWS, California (May 24, 2013) – One person suffered moderate injuries early Friday morning in a single-vehicle car crash on El Sobrante and Mockingbird Canyon roads, according to a press release issued by the Riverside County Fire Department.

About 12:19 a.m., a team of 14 fire fighters came to the scene of the crash to cut and rescue a person who was trapped in the wreckage of the car accident. Paramedics transported the injured person by ground ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment of moderate injuries, the report said.

BLYTHE: Three Injured in Crash on I-10 Freeway at Mesa Drive

BLYTHE, California (May 14, 2013) – One person suffered major and two minor injuries Sunday night in a crash between a semi-tractor trailer truck and a sedan on the Interstate 10 freeway at Mesa Drive, according to a press release issued by the Riverside County Fire Department.

About 6:45 p.m., the two vehicles were driving on the westbound Interstate 10 freeway when the traffic accident occurred. Three people were injured in the truck accident and taken by ambulance to nearby hospitals. One of the victims was taken by a Careflight air ambulance to a trauma center for treatment of moderate to major injuries, the report said.

“Whenever a smaller vehicle is involved in a traffic accident with a big rig truck there are likely to be serious injuries,” said Attorney West Seegmiller. “Victims of these types of collisions may need the assistance of an experienced truck accident attorney to help them recover compensation for costs such as medical care, lost time off work and other losses.”

BEAUMONT CAR CRASH: Two Injured in Crash on Western Knolls Avenue

BEAUMONT, California (March 22, 2013) – Two people were injured in a crash involving two vehicles late Thursday night on Western Knolls Avenue at Highway 60 West, according to a press release issued by the Riverside County Fire Department.

About 11:30 p.m., emergency workers responded to the crash and found one of the injured people trapped in the wreckage. It took roughly 20 minutes to cut and rescue the victim from the vehicle and by 12:08 a.m. both people were on route to a nearby hospital, the report said.

The two victims were treated for moderate and minor injuries at a nearby medical facility. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the crash to determine what happened.

According to statistics compiled by the California Highway Patrol’s Statewide Integrated Traffic Report, there were two people killed and 115 injured in traffic accidents in the city of Beaumont during 2010.
