TEMECULA, California (July 23, 2013) – Paramedics were called to a 4-vehicle traffic accident involving an SUV that went off the roadway into a ditch on the Winchester Road (California State Route 79) at Benton Road near the French Valley Village Center, according to a dispatch report by the California Highway Patrol.

About 7:04 a.m., CHP officials were notified about a multivehicle collision between a white pickup truck, a four-door sedan and a black Landrover. The SUV reportedly went off the road and landed in a ditch about 30 feet from the roadway, the report said. The wreck was causing a traffic hazard on the highway and paramedics were called to treat the injured.  Two flatbed tow trucks arrived on the scene to remove vehicles and debris from the crash.
