Police are required to investigate every motorcycle accident involving a fatality to determine the cause of the crash, said Attorney West Seegmiller. The investigation will seek to find out if either driver was under the influence of alcohol, distracted or if there were any circumstances that may have led to the crash that were illegal or reckless.
“Families of these victims killed in car accidents have lost a loved one and are forever changed due to both the emotional and financial loss,” said Seegmiller. “Drivers who make fatal mistakes must be held accountable for their actions.”
