LAS VEGAS, Nevada (May 8, 2013) – According to a recent article in The Las Vegas Sun, a Metro Police Officer was involved in an accident. The accident occurred today at about 1:40 p.m. at Summerlin Parkway and Durango Drive. The officer was riding his department motorcycle when he collided with a smaller sedan at the Durango overpass. The officer was taken to University Medical Center Trauma and he is alert. More information is forthcoming.
