One person is dead today after an apartment fire broke out in Chula Vista, according to an article in 10NewsNow.com.
CHULA VISTA, CALIFORNIA: (September 11, 2013)- One person is dead after a fire broke out in a Chula Vista apartment, officials said Wednesday. The fire began on the first floor of the apartments located at the 520 block of Park Way at about 10 a.m. Chula Vista police reported that there was an injured person at the premises and the fire department responded accordingly. Two ambulances arrived but the injured person succumbed to their injuries. The cause of the fire remains under investigation. “When someone is injured or loses their life in an apartment fire, there is an obligation and usually liability on the part of the apartment complex, the property management company, and any insurance company or companies that insure the property,” states attorney West Seegmiller.
