RANCHO SANTA FE, California – Stephanie Lynn England, 49, of Escondido died Saturday night after the driver of the 3-wheeled 2009 Harley Davidson motorcycle she was riding on lost control of the vehicle, the bike rolled down an embankment and she was pinned underneath it, according to news reports and a press release issued by the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Department.

England died about 10:30 p.m. at the scene of the crash, the report said.

According to the report and an article in the North County Times, William Jimenez, 58, of Escondido was driving his Harley Davidson motorcycle in the 10800 block of Via De Fortuna at the time of the crash. Jimenez suffered major injuries in the crash and was transported to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla for treatment, the news article said. Police suspect that alcohol may be a factor in the motorcycle crash, however, there were no further details provided.
