ORANGE, California – Robert Armas, of Anaheim, 43, of Anaheim was killed Wednesday afternoon after he lost control of his car on Katella Avenue and struck multiple fixed objects including a tree, according to a report by the Orange County Sheriff-Coroner Department.
According to the report, Armas’ accident took place near 210 W. Katella Avenue just west of Glassell Street at 2:06 p.m. Paramedics transported him to UCI Medical Center where he died of his injuries several hours later at 6:20 p.m. The Orange Police Department is investigating the car accident to determine its cause, but initial reports indicated Armas may have died due to a medical condition.
