SAN BERNARDINO, California – A 60-year-old pedestrian was struck and killed Monday night, according to police reports.
Karen Lee Henthorn, 60, of San Bernardino, was hit by a blue 1994 Honda sedan about 6 p.m. on Monday night at the intersection of Mountain Avenue and Lynwood Drive, the San Bernardino County Sheriff-Coroner’s Department report said.
She was transported to St. Bernardine’s Medical Center, but she was pronounced dead by 6:35 p.m. The pedestrian traffic accident is under investigation by the San Bernardino Police Department and an autopsy will be conducted this week to determine the cause of the death, the coroner’s dept. report said.
