SAN BERNARDINO, California – An unidentified man walking on the westbound Interstate 10 freeway just west of the Waterman Avenue onramp was struck by a car and killed Monday afternoon, according to a San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner Department report.
According to the report, the man is described as being in his late 40s or early 50s. Paramedics responding to the scene of the San Bernardino pedestrian accident pronounced him dead at the scene of the crash about 3:05 p.m.
California Highway Patrol is investigating the incident to determine its cause.
