TEMECULA, California (Riverside County) — Seven people were injured in a two-car accident on northbound Interstate 15, according to CAL Fire/Riverside County Fire Department officials.
The Temecula Patch is reporting at least one person was killed in the accident that occurred at 10:53 p.m. on Tuesday in Temecula.
A CAL Fire/Riverside County Fire Department report said 2 injuries were critical and 5 were minor or moderate. It is unknown whether the critically injured victims were killed or if was someone with less severe injuries initially.
One of the persons in the accident was trapped after the crash and fire personal had to rescue that person from the car wreckage, the report said.
Officials are still investigating the exact cause of this accident.
