Education: Mr. Seegmiller earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science at the University of California Davis and his master’s degree from the University of Southern California. Additionally, Mr. Seegmiller earned his Juris Doctorate from the McGeorge School of Law University of the Pacific in Sacramento, where he was selected to compete in the highly competitive Traynor National Moot Court Team and was a member of the prestigious Pacific Law Review. Since establishing his own firm in 1981, Mr. Seegmiller continues to educate himself and expand his knowledge in the legal field. He has refined his skills in the practice by attending both the Harvard Law School Program of Instruction for Lawyers, as well as, The Jerry Spence Trial Lawyers College.

Community Service: Indeed, Mr. Seegmiller knows the importance of giving back to the community. An Eagle Scout, who is still actively involved with the Boy Scouts of America, Mr. Seegmiller participates in a large number of charitable organizations. He is especially proud of his involvement in helping victims of the 9/11 disaster in 2001 as a member of the Trail Lawyers Care organization. Mr. Seegmiller was one of 1,100 attorneys nationwide to take part in its 9/11 Victims Federal Relief Fund, the largest pro bono project in the United State’s legal history. The program assisted 1,700 families of victims affected by the September 11, 2001 tragedy by providing an estimated $200 million in legal services at no charge. He has also traveled to northern Mexico with his family to build homes for indigent families as a volunteer for the non-profit organization Corazon. Volunteers for the Santa Ana-based Corazon have built roughly 1,500 houses and other community buildings in Mexico over the past 32 years. Mr. Seegmiller also works as a volunteer for The Reinhart Foundation. He and some of his associates travel to Guatemala to help needy families by giving them stoves and water purifiers as well as installing them. Additionally, Mr. Seegmiller travels to Cuba on a personal mission to assist needy families with medical and dental supplies.

Trent Evans, Esq. | Attorney

Mr. Evans is a dedicated, hard-working attorney who is driven by his passion to obtain measurable results for his injured clients. A seasoned warrior in the personal injury field, Trent started with the Seegmiller Law Firm back when he was starting out as a law clerk. His hard-hitting legal career took off and he went to work for several law firms over the years including Trutanich-Michel LLP in Long Beach. Here his extensive encompassed everything from federal securities litigation to constitutional litigation. “I am proud of my work at Trutanich-Michel as it was extremely challenging and rewarding,” Evans said.

Mr. Evans earned his bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice from California State University and a Juris Doctorate from Chapman University School of Law in Orange. During his years at Chapman, Mr. Evans was a member of the influential Mock Trial Board. Additionally, he served as a production editor and was on the executive board for the Chapman Law Review, a student operated scholarly journal that publishes articles submitted by professors, judges and practitioners.

An Eagle Scout and member of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity (Delta Sigma Chapter), Mr. Evans has many accomplishments that he is especially proud of over the years including being the founding president of Second Amendment Advocates. Mr. Evans also spent two years as a volunteer representative for Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in New York State. He spent two years working as a volunteer for the Public Law Center in New York. Memberships he belongs to include American Association for Justice, CASD, J Reuben Clark Legal Society.

Outside of the law firm, Mr. Evans is extremely active and enjoys all types of outdoor recreation including water skiing, downhill skiing, snowboarding, kickboxing, sailing, surfing, and riding his dirt bike and Harley Davidson. Time spent with his family, friends and his animal friends is especially important to him.

Angela Knarr, Esq. | Attorney

California and Nevada Personal Injury Attorney Angela Knarr, is an exceptional member of the Seegmiller Law Firm whose work has helped provide our injured clients with the compensation they deserve. Knarr is passionate about fighting for our injured clients. Over the past decade, her diligence and dedication have helped win millions in compensation for our worthy clients. Her professional affiliations include working for the Montage Legal Group. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Chapman University in Orange in 1997, graduating summa cum laude. Next, she attended Harvard Law School in Cambridge, Massachusetts where she earned her Master’s degree and Juris Doctorate cum laude in 2001. Her hometown is Sandpoint, Idaho. Outside of the courtroom, when she is not fighting for our deserving clients, Knarr enjoys spending time with her family including her husband and daughter as well as doing yoga, reading and traveling.

Brian Banner, Esq. | Attorney

Brian Banner is devoted to the legal profession and treats clients as he would a good friend. Our Spanish-speaking clients are his focus, but Brian cares deeply about all our injured clients and wants them to have a good experience moving forward by helping them win their claim.

A recent graduate of Western School of Law in San Diego, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in Law, Brian has extensive experience in the legal field and knowledge that helps him drive our legal team to win cases. The life-changing experience Brian had serving in a mission in Barcelona, Spain is something that helped to shape who he is as a person. His life outside of work is devoted to his wife and family. He loves playing sports such as football and baseball with his son and riding bicycles with his daughter. The whole family enjoys camping together too.

Jessica Charles Coffin | Attorney

Jessica Charles Coffin joined the Seegmiller Law Firm this year as one of our hard-working attorneys. She is passionate about the legal profession and committed to providing our injured clients with first-class service. Jessica graduated cum laude from Westmont College in 2005 with a major in Sociology and a minor in Psychology. In 2008, she earned her Juris Doctor from the University of Southern California, School of Law. At USC, Jessica took part in the Public Interest Law Foundation and was Senior Editor for the Southern California Interdisciplinary Law Journal.

Prior to joining the Seegmiller Law Firm, Jessica was an associate for Snell & Wilmer’s Orange County offices focusing on product liability, medical malpractice, consumer product safety and regulatory compliance. While working at Snell, she co-authored an article for the Los Angeles Daily Journal and was named a Rising Star by Southern California Super Lawyers® for 2010 and 2011. She also serves as an attorney advisor for the Orange County Constitutional Rights Foundation Peer Court. Jessica left Snell after she got married to her husband. The couple moved to the U.S. territory of Guam after he was stationed there in his position as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) with the United States Navy. While in Guam, Jessica interned with the Superior Court of Guam’s Family Violence Court. Jessica lives in Pasadena, California, while her husband is deployed to Afghanistan.

Scott Seegmiller | To be licensed in 2012

Scott is the eldest son of West Seegmiller’s five children. He shares his father’s passion for the field of law. Over the 12 years he has worked at Seegmiller, Scott has become a dedicated advocate to our injured clients. He works tirelessly to help our attorneys win them settlements they deserve. Scott earned his Bachelor of Arts in East Asian Language and Cultures from the University of Southern California and his Juris Doctorate in Law from California Western School of Law. He is also currently pursuing an LL.M. in Dispute Resolution from the Straus Institute at Pepperdine University School of Law. In the years prior to completing his education, Mr. Seegmiller served a two-year mission for his church in Pusan, Korea where he learned to speak fluent Korean. Scott is also proud to be an Eagle Scout. He began acting as a child and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG-AFTRA). Outside of the office he enjoys playing piano and singing karaoke. His athletic endeavors include playing soccer, running, snowboarding and surfing. Although he no longer lives in Northern California, Scott is still an avid Oakland A’s baseball fan.
