COLTON, California (May 30, 2013) – The driver of an SUV whose brakes burned out crashed into a Mini Cooper,  a red Mercedes 300 and a red BMW in the No. 1 lane of the Interstate 215 Riverside freeway just south of the Iowa Avenue off ramp, according to a dispatch report issued by the California Highway Patrol.

About 7:50 a.m., CHP officers reported the driver of a blue Chevrolet Tahoe admitted his brakes were burned out after causing a four-vehicle accident. The Mercedes 300 suffered the most damage and was towed from the scene of the wreck. Paramedics were called to the scene of the multi-vehicle collision, but injuries were not disclosed in the report.

“Anyone who is injured in a crash should seek immediate medical attention,” said Attorney West Seegmiller. “Also, contact a personal injury lawyer to get the maximum compensation from the insurance company to cover your financial losses.”
