CHINO HILLS, California (June 4, 2013) – Elizabeth Nicole Nutt, 21, of West Covina was killed early Monday afternoon in a single-vehicle rollover crash on State Route 71 just south of Grand Avenue, according to a press release issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner Department.

About 2:40 p.m., CHP officers responded to the scene of the crash and found the 2001 Honda Civic had veered off the roadway and rolled over multiple times, the report said. Nutt was identified as the driver of the vehicle. She was critically injured in the crash and paramedics transported her by ambulance to Arrowhead Regional Medical Center where she later died at 7:27 p.m. of her injuries.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the collision to determine its cause and if there was anyone else responsible for her death.

The family has created a tribute for their daughter here.
