GRASS VALLEY, California (July 2, 2013) – There were two, 2-vehicle traffic collisions, early Tuesday morning at the intersection of Magnolia Road and Combie Road, that is expected to close down a stretch of both roads until 9 p.m. Tuesday night, according to a dispatch report filed by the California Highway Patrol.

Just after 7 a.m., CHP officers received several 911 calls informing them of the first collision between a red sedan and a white sedan, which overturned. Shortly after, the second incident occurred as a Silver Toyota swerved, in an attempt to avoid the sedans, and collided with a power line, knocking live wire onto the roadway.

Emergency officials arrived and paramedics transported at least two people to a nearby hospital, their injuries are unknown at this time.

Both of the accidents are under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.

“Those who are involved a traffic accident, whether minor or major, may suffer injuries that don’t present themselves immediately,” said West Seegmiller, attorney for the Seegmiller Law Firm. “If you were in an accident it is important to get checked out, back and neck pain can be very serious and shouldn’t be ignored.”
