MOUNT BALDY, California – Dominic Belletti, 60, of Long Beach was found dead Sunday morning by a group of hikers in an area named Baldy Bowl after an alleged fall that was not witnessed by anyone, according to a press release issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner Department.
About 10:45 a.m., the discovery was made and reported to police who are now investigating the man’s death to determine what happened. According to the report, Belletti left his home in Long Beach at some point during the early morning hours on Sunday to take a hike alone in the mountains. No further information was provided.
The coroner division is investigating the death to determine what happened and if foul play was involved.
