Last year a man was responsible for the death of a 12-year-old trick-or-treater. Now that same man, Justin Caramanica, 42, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of DUI, according to Metro Police. At about 6 p.m. police responded to a call that an accident involving two vehicles had occurred on Silvered Bark Drive and Town Center Drive in Summerlin. There were no immediate details however Justin Caramanica was arrested at the scene for driving on a suspended license, and being under the influence, again.

Caramanica is awaiting sentencing on November 5th  for the death of the 12-year old last year. He pleaded guilty to driving under the influence causing death and substantial bodily harm. The 12-year-old girl was hit and killed as she was trick-or-treating last year near Sahara Avenue and Hualapai Way, Las Vegas.  According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, 7% of all traffic accidents are caused by or involve alcohol.
