Paramedics Transport Rider to Hospital After Crash on 5 Freeway
NEWHALL, California (Feb. 5, 2014) – A motorcyclist was injured Wednesday morning in a collision with the driver of a blue Dodge Stratus on the northbound 5 Freeway at the connection to the State Route 14 Freeway, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 5:46 a.m., CHP officers responded to the injury accident and called for paramedics with the Los Angeles County Fire Department. The rider was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
Both vehicles were towed from the scene of the crash.
“There is an accident report pending for this motorcycle crash and it will contain an analysis of the collision factors based on evidence collected by police. This report will establish fault,” said Attorney West Seegmiller. “The report is typically available within 30 days and it’s very helpful to those involved.”
