NORTHRIDGE, California (July 3, 2013) — Six people were critically injured Wednesday night in a 3-vehicle crash at the intersection of Tampa Avenue and Roscoe Boulevard, according to a report by NBC News.

About 8 p.m., the drivers of a blue pickup truck, a passenger car and an air conditioning company van collided at the intersection. Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash to treat those who were injured and some who were possibly ejected or trapped inside the vehicles, the report said.

The Los Angeles Police Department responded to the scene of the accident and are investigating the cause of the crash, the report said. The Los Angeles Fire Department emergency workers were also at the scene helping victims.
