CORONA, California (July 5, 2013) — Ojastro Pinagpala, 58, of Walnut was killed and two others injured Thursday afternoon in a rollover crash after the driver of the SUV she was riding in lost control of the vehicle on the northbound Interstate 15 freeway just north of Indian Truck Trail on ramp, according to a press release issued by the Riverside County Sheriff Coroner Department.

About 2 p.m., on July 4, Pinagpala became trapped in the SUV whose driver reportedly veered off the paved roadway and onto the dirt shoulder, spun out and rolled over in the Sycamore Creek area. CAL FIRE/Riverside County Firefighters had to use the Jaws of Life to free Pinagpala was reportedly wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. Her injuries were critical and she died about four hours later at the Inland Valley Regional Medical Center in Wildomar, the report said.

Two people were injured in the crash including one person who suffered moderate injuries and another with minor injuries, according to a report by the Riverside County Fire Department.
