HUNTINGTON BEACH, California – A 7-month-old baby is in critical condition, one person is dead and two others injured after a head-on, rollover crash involving three vehicles on Bolsa Chica Street Wednesday morning, according to a report in the Orange County Register.
The 7:30 a.m. crash at Bolsa Chica Street and Tasman Drive took place after the driver of an orange Ford Bronco veered across the center divider of the road and struck a silver Honda head-on, police told the Register reporter. Also, the driver of another vehicle was unable to avoid crashing into the wreck. The Bronco rolled over upon impact with the first vehicle.
Paramedics transported the baby and two others with minor injuries to a nearby hospital for treatment of undisclosed wounds. It is not known what vehicle any of the victims were riding in and names have not be disclosed.
Huntington Beach Police Department officers are investigating the collision.
