CORONA, California — Ethan Elliott Gray, 22, of Chino Hills was killed Monday, Dec. 24 after the 2003 Honda S2000 coupe he was riding as a passenger in struck a tree in the center divider of Green River Road, according to a press release issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner Department.
About 5:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve, Gray was riding in a vehicle whose driver lost control in the 4200 block of Green River Road. Paramedics responding to the crash scene transported him to Loma Linda University Medical Center where he later died of his injuries at 8:44 p.m., the report said.
The driver of the Honda was reportedly Elbert Chen, 19, of Chino Hills, according to an article in the Press Enterprise.
The car crash is under investigation by the Corona Police Department, the report said.
