SAN DIEGO, California — Shiden Golshani Jabdan, 35, of San Diego died Sunday afternoon about 12 hours after she was critically injured while riding as a passenger in a BMW that crashed into several parked cars in the 900 block of West Mission Bay Drive, according to a press release issued by the San Diego Medical Examiner’s Office.
Just before 3 a.m. on Jan. 19, 2013, Jabdan was a backseat passenger in the black BMW driven by another 35-year-old woman who police suspect was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash.
The driver and a 19-year-old front-seat passenger were also injured in the crash and all three women were transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of their injuries. Jabdan died about 12 hours after paramedics rushed her to UCSD Medical Center.
