Las Vegas, Nevada (March 4, 2013) – A moped rider was riding westbound on Lake Mead near the 3900 block of Lake Mead Boulevard at about 7 p.m. today when the driver collided with a vehicle. Chrissie Coon, Metro Police spokeswoman, stated that the moped driver was taken to University Medical Center where he sustained critical injuries. More information is forthcoming.
