Traffic is Backed up on Both Sides of Interstate 405 Freeway Due to Multi-vehicle Crash
SHERMAN OAKS, California (Dec. 4, 2013) – Several people suffered minor injuries in a 6-vehicle car and truck crash Wednesday morning on the southbound Interstate 405 Freeway at Sherman Way, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
About 9:26 a.m., CHP officers reported the crash involving a big rig truck, a food truck and several other vehicles in the HOV and Nos. 1, 2 and 3 lanes of the I-405 freeway, the report said. Police say there were people with minor injuries, but there was limited information about the crash.
Los Angeles Fire Department emergency workers responded to the scene of the crash that was blocking lanes on both sides of the freeway.
“Police will investigate the collision to determine liability and ultimately those who are injured may file a claim against the negligent driver who caused the car accident,” said Attorney West Seegmiller.
