WEST LOS ANGELES, California – The driver of a silver or gray Honda Accord sedan flipped over after it crashed into a white pickup truck early Wednesday and landed on its roof in the No. 4 slow lane on the Interstate 405 freeway at Bel Air Crest Road, according to a dispatch report by the California Highway Patrol.
According to the CHP dispatch report, the driver of the silver Honda was driving recklessly at high speeds prior to the crash with the pickup truck. The report indicated there was lots of debris from the wreck scattered in the roadway and the Nos. 4 and 5 lanes were blocked as a result of the crash.
Paramedics were called to the scene of the crash, but it was not clear if anyone was seriously injured in the wreck. The report did indicate that the driver of the Honda was alone in his vehicle and that at one point he was out of his vehicle.
“Drivers who are reckless or speeding are negligent under California law and can be held liable for the injury, death and property damages of any others who are involved in a subsequent crash,” said Attorney West Seegmiller, founder of the Seegmiller Law Firm.
