ANAHEIM, California (Nov. 21, 2013) – The driver of a white sedan lost control of their vehicle and spun out on the northbound State Route 57 freeway early Thursday morning before being struck head-on by another driver in a dark-colored sedan, according to a dispatch by the California Highway Patrol.
According to the CHP report, the two drivers collided just before 5 a.m. in the HOV and Nos. 1 and 2 lanes of the 57 freeway just north of the Lincoln Avenue E on ramp.
Paramedics responded to the crash, but the extent or number of injuries was not disclosed in the dispatch report.
The crash was blocking all lanes of the roadway and police closed down the eastbound Ball Road on ramp to the northbound 57 freeway as a result of the crash.
Motorists commuting on our busy Orange County freeways who are injured in a car crash such as this one may need the assistance of an experienced personal injury attorney to guide them through the legal process if they wish to be compensated for losses, said Newport Beach Attorney West Seegmiller.
Indeed, studies have shown that typically people who are represented by an attorney in a car accident claim receive 3.5 times more compensation than those who deal directly with an insurance adjuster.
