CORONA, California (Feb. 1, 2013) — A 61-year-old Corona man was killed and two others injured Friday morning in a head-on car crash with a pickup truck on Temescal Canyon Road roughly a quarter mile south of Pulsar Court, according to a Riverside County Sheriff Coroner Report.
About 7 a.m., the Corona man was one of three who were trapped in a vehicle until rescue workers were able to cut open the vehicles and pull them out. He was confirmed dead at the scene of the crash, but another victim suffered major injuries and one suffered minor injuries.
The California Highway Patrol’s Riverside bureau is investigating the crash to determine what happened and who is liable for the other’s injuries.
