EASTVALE, California (October 30, 2013) — One person suffered minor injuries in a two-vehicle collision Tuesday night at the intersection of Aspen Leaf Lane and Sumner Avenue in the Citrus Ranch residential community, according to a press release by the Riverside Fire Department.
Just before 6 p.m., Riverside Fire emergency workers responded to the scene of the traffic accident and had to cut and rescue one person who was trapped in their vehicle. The injured person was taken by ambulance to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Two other people involved in the traffic accident were not hurt.
Police are investigating the collision to determine liability for the accident.
“Fortunately no one was seriously injured in this car crash,” said Attorney West Seegmiller. “However, minor soft-tissue injuries can persist if a person does not seek immediate medical attention and follow up with physical therapy as may be requried.”
