CABAZON, California (Jan. 19, 2013) –  Three people were injured in a single-vehicle crash into a tree Saturday morning in the 14200 block of Magnolia Street, according to a press release issued by the Riverside County Fire Department.

Just after 6 a.m., fire fighters responded to a call to rescue three people trapped in a vehicle that had struck a tree on Magnolia Street. One of the victims suffered major injuries and two were listed with moderate injuries, the report said.

The three injured people were transported by paramedics to nearby hospitals for treatment, the report said.

“Drivers carry insurance on their vehicle not just because it’s a requirement under California law, but also because they want to protect and care for those injured in their vehicle,” said Attorney West Seegmiller. “The insurance companies, however, do not want injured victims to hire an attorney because studies have shown that victims represented by a lawyer recover 3.5 times more than those who deal directly with an insurance adjuster.”
