HESPERIA, California (May 1, 2013) – The driver of a Sara Lee bakery truck allegedly failed to stop at a stop sign Tuesday morning and was broadsided a Buick sedan killing Helen Marie Bramasco and critically injuring her passenger, according to a report by the Daily Press.

About 11:25 a.m., the driver of the 2007 Isuzu box delivery truck was heading southbound on C Avenue and approaching the intersection with Olive Street, the report said. Police believe the truck driver crashed into the 1995 Buick Park Avenue driven by Bramasco because he failed to stop for a stop sign. The impact of the crash pushed the Buick up onto the curb where it struck a fence at the Hesperia Christian School and daycare, the Daily Press said.

Bramasco was taken by air ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center where she later died at 2:04 p.m. Her passenger was also air-lifted to the hospital’s trauma center for treatment of major injuries, the report said.

The fatal truck accident will be under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department MAIT Division, but victims of fatal crashes such as this should consider hiring experienced legal counsel that specializes in truck accidents to represent them in a wrongful death or personal injury action against the company whose drivers caused this crash.

“Sadly, there are no words that can comfort the family and friends of these two victims as they cope with such an incredible loss and a difficult recovery,” Attorney West Seegmiller said.  “The thoughts and prayers of our staff are with them as they try to piece together what happened and come to terms with his death.”

HESPERIA, California (May 1, 2013) – Helen Marie Bramasco, 53, of Hesperia was killed Tuesday night when her car was broadsided by the driver of a box truck at the intersection of Olive Street and C Avenue, according to a press release issued by the San Bernardino County Sheriff Coroner Department.

About 11:25 a.m., Bramasco was driving her 1995 Buick Park Avenue southbound on C Avenue approaching the intersection of Olive Street when the truck driver heading eastbound crashed into her vehicle.

Bramasco was taken by ambulance to Loma Linda University Medical Center where she later died at 2:04 p.m., the report said.

The fatal truck accident is under investigation by the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department MAIT Division.

“If you are injured or lost a loved one in a crash with a truck driver it’s important to contact an experienced truck accident attorney to secure your rights,” said Attorney West Seegmiller. “Indeed, an attorney who handles these types of cases knows for example that modern trucks are equipped with technology similar to a black box on an airplane that can be valuable evidence in a case, but only if it is preserved as evidence immediately after a crash.”

SAN BERNARDINO BIG RIG CRASH: Truck Hits Carpet Bundle, Two Cars on I-215 Freeway

Thursday, April 25th, 2013

SAN BERNARDINO, California (April 25, 2013) – A semi-tractor trailer truck driver was injured Thursday morning after he struck a bundle of carpet that had fallen into the roadway and then crashed into the center divider of the southbound Interstate 215 freeway at Devore Road, according to a dispatch report issued by the California Highway Patrol.

Just before 6 a.m., CHP officers reported a big rig truck had crashed into the center divider and hit a blue Honda on the I-215 freeway. The driver in the Honda told CHP officers that the big rig driver appears to be injured and to call for paramedics. Police learned that the big rig had struck the carpet bundle and swerved to the left where he hit the center divider and the Honda.

Rocks and debris from the crash fell over onto the northbound side of the freeway where they struck a white 1991 Honda Accord. The driver of that vehicle called the CHP about 8:13 a.m. to report his driver’s side head light had been shattered by the debris and there were four cracks in his windshield.
