WESTMINSTER, California — Steven Nguyen, 24, of Garden Grove was identified as the motorcyclist killed in a crash on the westbound 22 freeway Wednesday morning, according to a report by the Orange County Sheriff Coroner Department.

In a report by the Orange County Register, a California Highway Patrol officer said the motorcyclist was likely speeding when he collided with the driver of a Ford F-150. The impact ejected Nguyen and he was thrown into the roadway where he was struck by a Lincoln Town Car, the CHP said. He died at the scene of the motorcycle accident.

The CHP is investigating the crash to determine exactly what happened.
