San Diego, California (March 21, 2013) – A local basketball coach at Cathedral Catholic High School, Will Cunningham, is praying alongside family and friends for his wife and three daughter who were all critically injured in a head on collision. The accident occurred last Sunday when Will’s wife, Alisa and three of their children were driving on the 52 past Santo Road. Matthew Leonardo, driver of the other vehicle involved in the collision, slammed into the family’s mini-van. Leonardo died at the scene, while Alisa Cunningham, 17-year-old Taylor Cunningham, and two other Cunningham girls all sustained serious injured and are being hospitalized. Taylor sustained the most severe injuries and she is being treated for a head injury, where they are monitoring brain pressure.
“Head On collisions are almost always catastrophic, this is an incident that is especially horrific because an entire family was hurt,” states West Thomas, founder of The Thomas Law Firm.
