LOS ANGELES (March 13, 2013) – A woman was struck by a hit-and-run driver while walking east along Holmes Avenue south of Slauson Avenue on March 6 at 8:20 p.m., according to a press release issued by the Los Angeles Police Department.

Police are looking for the party responsible for the woman’s death, but they have very few facts, however, the suspect’s vehicle is described as a green, four-door car, the report said.

The Los Angeles Police Department Central Traffic Division (CTD) is currently seeking information from the public that may lead to an arrest of the culprit. If you witnessed the accident or have any tips to aid the police investigation, CTD Detective Jose De Leon is available to take information at 213-972-1825.
