SAN DIEGO, California – A motorcyclist was allegedly speeding prior to a solo crash Friday afternoon on the southbound State Route 163 Freeway at El Prado, according to a dispatch report by the California Highway Patrol.
About 12:12 p.m., police and paramedics responded to the motorcycle crash and found the injured man lying in the roadway. The report indicated the man was alive and breathing, but did not disclose the extent of his injuries. Paramedics transported the injured man to a nearby medical facility for treatment of undisclosed injuries.
A SigAlert was called about 12:21 p.m. and lasted about an hour until the roadway was cleared.
