SAN DIEGO, California (July 4, 2013) – There was a two-vehicle traffic collision Thursday afternoon on the westbound side of Interstate 8, just east of the southbound Interstate 5, according to a dispatch report filed by the California Highway Patrol.

Just before 2 p.m, CHP officers received a 911 call informing them of an accident between a light blue Chevrolet Cruze and a red Chevrolet sedan.

Emergency personal treated one person with minor injuries at the scene. In addition, at least two people were transported to an area hospital, their condition is unknown at this time.

The accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.

“Those who are involved a major or minor traffic accident may suffer injuries that don’t present themselves immediately,” said West Seegmiller, attorney for the Seegmiller Law Firm. “If you were in an accident it is important to get checked out, back and neck pain can be very serious and shouldn’t be ignored.”
