SANTA ANA, California (July 2, 2013) – There was a four-vehicle traffic collision on the southbound side of State Route 57 on the Orangewood Avenue on ramp Tuesday morning sending at least two to the hospital, according to a dispatch report filed by the California Highway Patrol.

Just before 10 a.m., CHP officers received several 911 calls from witnesses reporting a collision between a black BMW, two sedans and a pickup truck.

Emergency officials arrived on scene, and paramedics transported at least two people to a nearby hospital, though the severity of their injuries is unknown at this time.

The accident is under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.

“Those who are involved a major traffic accident may suffer injuries that don’t present themselves immediately,” said West Seegmiller, attorney for the Seegmiller Law Firm. “If you were in an accident it is important to get checked out, back and neck pain can be very serious and shouldn’t be ignored.”
